Sharing the Lutheran Beliefs Through Service
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church offers a variety of experiences to share Jesus’s Word, both within and outside the congregations. Community service is at the forefront.
Service Through Involvement
Church Council
The Church Council plans and implements programs of nurture, outreach, witness, and resources for the church. It also provides for the administration of all church activities and events. Church Counciil members are elected by the congregation.
Current members of the church council include: Bob McClellan (president), Kimett Geist (vice-president), Patty Bylsma (treasurer), Craig Kjeldahl (recording secretary), Chris Wisham (financial secretary), Amy Ingle (education director), and June Trenkler (outreach).
Dorcas Guild
The Dorcas Guild is an affiliate of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, is involved in community service, engages in planning church events, and provides fellowship and spiritual activities for its members. The Guild sponsors an Annual Bazaar, plans for Church Yard sales, and plans fund-raising to support local, state and national level causes.
Vacation Bible School
VBS is held annually during the month of June or July for both children of the congregation and the Ozark community. Vacation Bible School is free to all attendees and offers 3 days of learning about the Bible and Jesus’ love for us, crafts, games, food, and fun.
Youth Group
Our Youth Group offers and educational and developmental experience for young people, enabling them to meet with their peers, socialize and become part of the church community and the community in which they live. Youth Group meets on Wednesday evenings in the fellowship hall.
Our Invitation
At our church, we preserve and pass on the truth in accordance with the bible. We teach the revelation of God instead of the opinions of men. Our church protects the truth of God by going beyond believing only what seems reasonable.
Worship and work with us in serving God and the community. Reverend Chad Ingle would be happy to discuss any of your questions.
